I wonder what this means for the big PIXAR studios sign on park, taxes paid by disney to emeryville (hopefully more free stuff like the emery-go-round) and the studios expansion.

I talked to some city council members about what the impact might be for emeryville--they expect better negotiations around zoning (Jobs is notoriously difficult to bargain with), and they really have no idea what to expect in terms of philanthropy. I didn't ask if it would change tax revenues.
